Itinerary
Embark on a scenic drive through picturesque landscapes, terraced hills, and small towns, following the Budhi Gandaki River. Reach the charming village of Soti Khola, the starting point of your trek.
The trail follows the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through sal forests and terraced fields. You’ll trek past small Gurung villages and waterfalls before reaching Machha Khola.
Today’s trail includes river crossings and narrow paths carved into the cliffs. Pass through the natural hot springs at Tatopani and continue to Jagat, a well-preserved village with traditional stone-paved lanes.
Ascend through lush forests and steep trails, passing villages like Philim, where the culture becomes distinctly Tibetan. Cross several suspension bridges and marvel at waterfalls along the way.
The trail enters the upper Budhi Gandaki Valley, with spectacular views of the Siringi Himal. Pass through bamboo forests and small settlements before reaching Namrung, a vibrant village with Tibetan influences.
